- Current 1st class medical
- No incidents, accidents or violations
- 3000 hours Total Time
- 1500 hours PIC
- 200 hours in type (Typed and current)
Non-Pilot Personnel Openings:Maintenance Technician – Sugar Land, Texas DESCRIPTION: Provide first-class maintenance services for our Part 145 Repair Station. Perform work assigned, including but not limited to the overhaul, repair, alterations, assembly, servicing and the performance of routine maintenance and non-routine maintenance on aircraft, components or related parts of the aircraft. While working on aircraft components or related parts of the aircraft, perform work as outlined on the applicable work forms and in accordance with the manufacturer’s maintenance manuals as well as the Western Airways 145 Repair Station manual, sign for the accomplishment of such work on applicable work forms and records and are responsible for the work they perform. REQUIREMENTS: Airframe and Powerplant license preferred. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments necessary to perform job assignments. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Outstanding customer relations abilities required. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum three (3) years experience in business jet maintenance environment. Must demonstrate organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts and schematics. Must possess sufficient physical agility to work in confined aircraft work spaces. Must have manual dexterity required for a technician and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be knowledgeable and experienced in using computerized aircraft maintenance programs and manuals. Must comply with all safety and housekeeping policies. Engine run and Taxi qualification on business aircraft is desired. - At least 2 years’ experience as an aircraft technician in either civilian or military aviation.
- Installation experience with Garmin, Universal, Gogo, and cabin entertainment required.
- Must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams.
- Must possess the knowledge of properly utilizing wire installation and repair tools.
